Impressionism

The Great Impressionists were responsible for creating a totally new way of depicting subject matter of their artwork, be it still-life, figurative, or landscape - brighter colours, bold brush strokes, a less controlled approach to perspective and fine details. Most of them had been fully trained in the classical art techniques, however their grounding enabled them to use these basic skills to improvise  their approach to creating an artwork.

Shown here are some of my works painted in the styles of a handful of impressionists.
